Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is honoured to have won the France Football Academy’s Jafin Trophy for the second time in a row, but he will do everything he can to achieve tangible success with the Villans from now on ทางเข้า ufabet.

Martinez won the 2023 Yachin Trophy for his part in winning the 2022 World Cup with Argentina.

This trip has been excellent, both as the 2024 Copa America champions, the ‘Albi-Whites’, with 5 clean sheets from 6 games, finishing 4th in the English Premier League last season and ready to compete in the Champions League again. In terms of pound-for-pound influence, the 32-year-old has won this honor for 2 consecutive years.

“Winning the award once is already an honor. But to win it two years in a row is something I never expected. I’m just proud to be here. I’d like to thank my family and friends,” Amy said on the podium.

“I don’t see myself as the best goalkeeper. I’ve seen many players in the same position perform week in and week out.”

“Honestly, I care about winning the group, whether it’s with Argentina or Aston Villa. I care about myself, I care about working with the goalkeeping coach every day.”

“Personally, it’s about developing your skills every day.”

Martinez is one of the nine candidates for the Yashin Trophy, while the Ballon d’ Or winner came in 18th.
